The page is in the archive. A few days before the Christmas Eve of 1981 in Katowice and other places in Poland, quietly, under the watchful eye of the secret police, funerals of miners killed on December 16 at the "Wujek" Coal Mine were conducted. It was Martial Law. Funerals were accompanied by fear and terror, intensifying the loneliness of the families. It turned out, however, that the records of those events have been preserved - in pictures and secret reports produced by the officers of the Security Services.
