Kowalczyk, Jan – Aged 39, assistant stoker at the Poznań Alcohol Production Plant on Bóżnica Street. He died on 28.06.1956 at 6:00 pm in an ambulance on the way to the Ivan Pavlov (at present Transfiguration of Jesus) State Teaching Hospital no. 1 of the Medical University, then taken to the Forensic Medicine Department. His funeral was held on 2.07.1956 at 4:00 pm at the Górczyn Cemetery - Cemetery of Our Lady of Sorrows Parish at Piotra Ściegiennego Street in Poznań, right-hand side, section Ib, row 6, grave 18. Cause of death: gunshot wound to the chest.
